Our Story
Originally built as a medieval watchtower in the 12th century, the estate has witnessed hundreds of years of transformation. Later owned by the noble Squarcialupi family and used as a hunting lodge, it eventually became a working agricultural property before being lovingly restored by the Boomsma family in 2023. Today, Fattoria di Vegi blends its historic roots with a vision for thoughtful hospitality. There’s a natural stillness to life at Fattoria di Vegi. Days unfold at their own pace, slow mornings, long lunches, the quiet hum of the vines. It’s warm and unpretentious, with a sense of elegance that comes from restraint rather than formality. The atmosphere is easy, thoughtful, and deeply connected to the rhythms of the countryside.
The emblem of Fattoria di Vegi is drawn from the estate’s own history, inspired by an archival detail found etched into a stone lintel above one of the villa’s original entrances. This small symbol, once overlooked, became a quiet representation of everything the estate stands for: rootedness, craft, and timeless continuity. Reinterpreted with restraint and intention, the emblem reflects the architectural heritage of the property, a balance of strength and softness, symmetry and irregularity. It speaks not of branding, but of belonging: a mark that connects past and present, just as the estate itself bridges tradition and modern hospitality. Like everything at Vegi, it’s not loud, but it lasts.

Fattoria di Vegi è più di un hotel: è una tenuta agricola con una storia lunga e ricca. Quella che un tempo era una torre di guardia del XII secolo si è evoluta in un luogo dove la lentezza nel vivere e il lusso discreto si fondono armoniosamente. I nostri terreni offrono spazio per esplorare, per connettersi e per trovare la pace interiore. Svegliatevi con il fruscio degli ulivi. Mangiare e bere
Il nostro ristorante, situato nell'antica Cantina, serve la colazione agli ospiti ogni mattina e si trasforma in un ambiente rilassato ma raffinato per il pranzo e la cena durante tutto il giorno. Il menù è stagionale, semplice e radicato nella tradizione regionale, con pasta fatta in casa, verdure dell'orto e pane di nostra produzione, il tutto abbinato ai vini della nostra tenuta.
